Deployment

PERUMED APM is activated by the Malaysia Civil Defence Force (APM) and local disaster management committees in accordance with National Security Council Directive No. 20.

Deployment Structure:

• Team Leader (APM)
• Medical Lead (PERUMED APM)
• First Responders (Medical & Auxiliary staff)
• Logistics and Communications support

Scalability:

• Small teams for community events
• Multi-post disaster coverage including casualty collection points and mobile medical units

Each deployment integrates with on-scene command and coordinates with the Ministry of Health (MOH), hospitals, and other emergency services.
